Lewis Hine

Lewis Hine was another muckraker. He photographed steel-workers in factories in Pittsburg, and later photographed Red Cross relief efforts in Europe. Among other things, Hine made it his mission to photographs workers who had contributed to the Industrial Revolution. In the process, he endured the same conditions as workers doing construction from ridiculous heights above New York City in order to accurately depict their working conditions.
