Alfred Stieglitz, husband of Georgia O’Keefe was influential in making photography a popular art form. He was perhaps one of the most important people in the history of art. However, he himself was not the best artist in the world. He was more focused on the business of photography, and promoting it in a way so that it became an accepted and popular art form.
