Born to two artist parents, Francesca Woodman was among the most famous women photographers in the United States. Mainly known for her interesting black and white pictures of herself and other women models, many of her work wasn’t really recognized for the beauty it possessed until after she died. Her work shows many nude women blurred with long exposure times so that they seem to almost blend into their backgrounds, which act almost as pseudo skins for the models. Though she committed suicide at the age of 22, her work continues to be admired.
