Today we drove 16 hours. Leaving Illinois, we went through the terribly exciting and eventful state of Iowa. From there we drove through the equally stunning Nebraska (though with admittedly less corn). Then we got to the sign welcoming us to "Colorful Colorado." FINALLY! This picture was taken of one of our first glimpses of the rolling hills from the car. It was amazing how we could almost tell that we were in a different state after passing the border, even though no obvious landmark separates the two.
