Right now I'm in the process of moving across the country. From one mountain range to another. This picture hardly does my home mountains justice. They're certainly not the Rockies, but their beauty and power will always hold a special place in my heart. As I was driving up from Keene Valley, I couldn't help but notice the contrast between the yellow fields and blue mountains... if it weren't for my nostalgic mood that day I probably wouldn't have taken the time to stop and take a picture. As much as I'm looking forward to exploring a new place, I know that I'll always miss this place that's so supersaturated with a lifetime's worth of memories.
